Slide navigator in Marp — now official
I wrote previously about vibe-coding a slide navigator into marp-cli — a thumbnail overview for the default template that lets you jump to any slide without cycling through them one by one. My initial version worked, but it was hacky and slow.
I tried to turn it into a proper PR, and Marp’s developer Yuki Hattori was kind enough to point me in the right direction. I reworked the implementation, and it has now landed in the v4.3.0 release of marp-cli. The result is a lot simpler, much faster, and works in both the presenter view and the normal view:
If you’re already using marp-cli, just update to v4.3.0 or later and you’ll have it out of the box.
